On Saturday 16th March, Ferryhill Town Band put on a thrilling performance at the North of England Brass Band Championships held at the Gala Theatre in Durham. Facing off against nine other talented bands from the region, we secured an impressive second-place finish! This incredible achievement comes after months of dedication and hard work from the band. Earning a coveted invitation to compete at the National Finals, held later this year at Cheltenham Racecourse, is a true honour.
As we prepare to take the national stage and represent Ferryhill with pride, the band will continue their fundraising efforts in the coming months to secure the resources needed to compete at the highest level.
