Jayess Newbiggin Brass Band is a traditional brass band based in Northumberland in the north of England.
We have a proud history and look forward to a bright future. The band has produced some great players, not least James Shepherd, our former President, whose initials J.S. (“Jayess”) give us our name!
We welcome new players and have a varied mix of players from different backgrounds and ages, all of whom enjoy playing in a friendly and supportive environment, playing to a high standard to entertain the public and in contests.
