As part of our commitment to bands based in the UK, we have developed new features and services we feel many bands will benefit from - our Deps Map and Professional Listings.

Our Deps Map will give an overview of how many Deps are registered on BrassMap and allow this to be filtered by area to show how many of each position are listed.

No other information is displayed here, just a breakdown of positions registered in each geographical area.

As this entirely relies on the Brass Band Community, we have updated our Registration and Login system.  Upon first logon you will be asked to choose either and Individual or Band account type.

Don't worry, if you chose the wrong option please don't hesitate to Contact Us.

From the My Account page you have a new option which shows your Favourite Bands so you can view their information in a click.  If the selected band subscribes to our Premium Service you will automatically receive an Email Alert whenever they post any new items (News, Events, Vacancies).

You can also create your Member Profile

All information you save here gets stored securely and we will never sell or give your information away.  Although we store your postcode, we only use that to match the area you are based.

Now this is where things get interesting...

Bands can create a Dep Request via simple form.  We take that information and match those profiles with the request but also give you the option to notify all matches via Email

The successful matches with receive the email containing the Event Details and these will also be displayed on their My Account page

Only now the member has the option to submit their details to the Requesting Band

And don't worry if you already have an account,all these new features can be accessed via the "Individual User Options" at the top of the My Account page.
